The Sun Gun is one of Cine 60's legendary products. For over 30 years, the Sun Gun has been
a useful tool for both Film and Video Cameramen.
In spite of it's simplicity and light weight the Sun Gun produces an extremely uniform beam due to it's
specially designed reflector. Combined with the fact that the focusable socket can be fitted with bulbs
from 20 – 250W having the GX6.35 lampholder and up to 350W with those having the E10 lampholder, the
Sun Gun has become one of the most versatile handheld film lights on the market.
Optional accessories include a swingaway dichroic, a diffuser and a four leaf barndoors. The dichroic filter converts
the color temperature to daylight (5600K) allowing use as a filler even in bright sunlight.
Another valuable option is a special handgrip which can also be mounted on a light stand. Of course we recommend
using the Sun Gun with our series of Electronic Battery Belts.
